Phoenix offers an extensive choice of education for children. From private school to public there is a school to meet every child's needs.

Phoenix is a large city, hosting over 30 school districts in the greater Phoenix region alone. Each district offers special education to the disabled students of the community, after school programs for child of working parents, and chemical abuse prevention programs. The mission statement for the teachers of Phoenix is to provide a creative, challenging, motivating, and caring environment where all students can acquire skills and knowledge for lifelong learning. All students will learn to be productive, responsible, and culturally enriched citizens, making many of the Phoenix area schools nationally recognized for their excellence.

In additional to the region's public school system, many neighborhoods in Phoenix have their own schools for children in grades K-8 as well. These schools cater only to children within a particular neighborhood, so students can walk to school and attend with other neighborhood children.

The Art Institute at Phoenix is recognized as being among the best art schools in the country. The students get the benefit of learning from not only from professional artists who are their teachers but by businessmen and women in the student's field of study. It is one of the only art schools in the nation at is recognized for giving business skills to artists as well as helping to cultivate their talent. Each student's work is continually reviewed and the results are discussed with each student.

The University of Phoenix is by far the most famous and one of the largest colleges in Arizona. It has a diversified curriculum to accommodate every student's field of study. Students come from all over the world to attend The University of Phoenix to enrich their educational experience at any age. 23 % of the residents of Phoenix have a bachelor's degree or advance college degree.
